Wireless receiving sets will be installed on a train for the first time in New Zealand to-day, when the Lyttelton-West Coast excursion will be held. Loudspeakers will be provided for each carriage. The Christchurch station, 3FC, which has supplied the installation, will be “on the air ” from 8 o’clock. During the day it is hoped that the sets will be able to pick up the broadcast from Forbury Park and in the evening the Australian stations.
