ASTRONOMICAL NOTES FOR APRIL

THE SUN. The Sun’s path during the month ot April will be in R.A. from 0.42.21 to 2.29.54, in declination from 4.33.23 to 14.47.1 north, and in longitude from 1.30.55 to 39.53.0. THE MOON. The phases of the Moon will be as follow : —

THE PLANETS. Mercury will be in R.A. from 23.11.2 to 2.17.4. and in declination from 7.41.59 south to 13.2.10 north. It will be in conjunction with Venus on the Bth. and with the Moon on the 19tb. Venus will be in R.A. from 23.16.41 to 1.28.14, and in declination from 6.9.20 south to 7.40.26 north. It will be in conjunction with the Moon on the 18th, and with Jupiter on the 29th. Mars will be in R.A. from 21.52.8 to 23.16.4 - , and in declination from 14.15.34 to 6.16.17 south. It will be in conjunction with the Moon on the 16th; Jupiter will be in R.A. from 0.58.5 to 1.23.59, and in declination from 5.52 to 7.40.3 north. It will be in conjunction with the Sun on the 6th, and with the Moon on the 19th. Saturn will be in R.A. from 17.13.15 to 17.9.42, and in declination from, 21.21.54 to 21:15.32 south. It will be in conjunction with the Moon on the 10thUranus will bo in conjunction with the Moon on the 18th, and Neptune will be in conjunction with the Moon on the Ist and on the 28th.
