INVERCARGILL REGATTA. DUNEDIN CREWS’ SUCCESSES. . INVERCARGILL, March 11. The visiting Otago crews were oustandingly successful at the Invercargill regatta held on the Oreti River yesterday, the two clubs represented (Port Chalmers and Queen’s Drive) securing the bulk of the prize money on offer. Between them they annexed six of the rowing events (including the two principal races), and also accounted for five seconds and five thirds. They won prize money totalling £5O. The course was in splendid order and quite unaffected by the adverse weather conditions. Consequently some good times were registered.
