The editorship of the British Medical Journal was relinouished on January 19 by Sir Dawson ’Williams, his successor being Dt Norman Gerald Horner. Dr Horner w as.educated at Tonbridge School, Gonville, and Cains College, Cambridge, and at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. He was for a time assistant editor of the Lancet before going to the British Medical Journal as assistant editor. In the course of the war he served for two years in France as captain in the Royal Army Medical Corns. His connection with the British Medical Journal extends over more.than 10 years.
