Since the establishment of the League ol Nations international affairs receive far more attention by the general public than formerly, while students devote considerable time to world happenings in relation to their effect on history (reports the Auckland Star). In order that Auckland should be thoroughly up-to-date in its knowledge of what is happening throughout the world, a movement, has been started.for the formation. of a reference library on international affairs. The Auckland branch of the institute of Pacific Relations has the matter under consideration.
