When ” paying-out ” date for the third Wanganui wool sale takes place on Friday this week, 1-he sum to recompense pro; ducera will be in tho vicinity of £llO,OOO (states the Chronicle). At the sale on February 23 about 16,500 bales of wool werd cleared at high prices. Considerable interest is being evinced in the inspetcion of a model locomotive and Pullman car which is being exhibited in a window in a Greymouth shop (states the Greymouth Evening Star). The maker of the model is Mr F. Jacobs, of the Grey Hospital staff. The models are working models. They are standing in a model station yard, which shows a signal box; station, and approaches. The exhibit is worth seeing, and was besieged the other day by Children as well ae adults.
