While the Council of the Southland Acclimatisation Society was discussing the matter of stocking reservoirs with trout at a meeting the other evening (says the Southland Daily News), one of the members caused some amusement by stating that some time ago a fine healthy trout was found in the tank in the tower alrove the pumping station at the waterworks.
