“Apparently the furniture was not the only thing that was damaged,” was a remark by Mr A. M. Mowlem. S.M., in humorous vein at the Napier Police Court the other morning (reports Hie Napier Daily Telegraph), when a prisoner, charged with mischief .by wilful damage to furniture, stepped into the dock with his head swathed in bandages.
