" I represent nobody except my husband,'” said a woman present at the meeting of the newly-formed Auckland Hospital Auxiliary the other afternoon. “My husband told me to come here, and, like a dutiful wife, I came along.” A photographer was asked if there was any special reason why most photographs show the left side of the face, and not the right, " Yes, there is a reason,” he answered. “In a majority of cases the left side is the good-looking side, and photographers know this and take advantage of it.”
