NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITY.
ELECTION OF GRADUATE REPRESENTATIVES. WELLINGTON, .January 29. On January 21 last the General Court ot Convocation of the University of New Zealand, a body of which all the graduates of the University are entitled to be active members, elected five members to the University Council. There were, in all, 14 nominations. The election resulted in the following candidates being chosen to QI) the five vacant positions on the council:—Professor J. Macmillan Brown, Mr T. U. Wells, Mr Colin M. Gilray, Mr F. Milner, and Mr F. A. de la Mere. The representatives of Victoria University College will be Sir Robert Stout and Mr Bakewell, and of Otago Mr T. K. Sidey and Mr W. J. Morrell. The Auckland and Canterbury representatives are not yet announced.
