Captain A. Nicholas, who has occupied (he position of stevedore at Bluff for Messrs John Mill and Co. for the past three years, Is about to take up duty as superintending stevedore for the firm in Dunedin. Trior to his departure from Bluff he wns met by the members of the staff and the workmen, and made the recipient of a leather travelling case, suitably inscribed, as a token of esteem, while best wishes were extended him for his future success in his new position, .
