Before long, Mr R. M. Griffiths, chairman of the New Zealand Master Carriers’ Federation, stated nt a conference arranged by the Manawatu branch, the various branches would be called upon to unite in contesting recent traffic legislation. All the carriers, he added, would “soon be out on the road breaking stones,” if the position were not remedied.
