Owing to the fact that the returns at the Christchurch Municipal Baths on Wednesday evenings, when mixed bathing is allowed, had been above tho average, the Baths Committee of the City Council decided to allow mixed bathing every morning, not including Sundays, during the month of January (says the Lyttelton Times). The experiment proved a success, the receipts for the month being £277, as against £SO for January, 1925, and this result was achieved notwithstanding the fact that the weather was on the whole very cool
