THE SUN. The sun’s path during March will be in RA. from 22.46.44 to 0.36.50, in south declination from 7.45.45 to north declination 3.58.11, and in longitude from 340.9.2 Gto 10.1.9. The equinox occurs on the 21st. THE MOON. The phases of the moon will be as follows : Last quarter .. 7th 11.19 p.m. New moon .. 14th 2.50 p.m. First quarter .. 21st 4.42 p.m. Full moon .. 29th 9.30 p.m. Perigee - • 13th 11.0 a.m. Apogee • • 25th 4.24 p.m. THE PLANETS. Mercury will be in R.A. from 23.30.35 to 0.30.39 and in declination from 3.48.4 S. to (5.24.58 N. It will be in perihelion on the 9th, at its greatest elongation on the 14th ; it will be stationary on the 21st and in inferior conjunction with tho sun on the 31st. Venus will be in R.A. from 20.43.25 to 21.40.3 and in declination from 10.45.30 S. to 10.43.30. It will be in conjunction with the moon on the 11th and ut its greatest brilliancy on the 14th. Mars will be in R.A. from 19.2.59 to 20.34.35 and in declination from 23.14.26 to 19.49.3 south. It will be in conjunction with the moon on the 9th Jupiter will be in R.A. from 21.1.18 to 21.26.19 and in declination from 17.30.15 to 16.51.35 south.
