Full Egg Baskets. From this season’s pullets—thanks to Karswood Poultry Spice. Some poultry keepers say that new laid eggs cost a shilling each to produce in May, because the old birds are ‘Testing" and the young pullets have not started laying. They are laying well, always working, and always ready for their meals. I feed according to the Karswood plan with mash for breakfast, wheat and green feed at noon, and wheat in afternoon. And apart from feeding them on good food I always keep them clean and comfortable, with plenty of straw In the run and lime sprinkled in their sleeping place, which always keeps them sweet and clean. Well, sir, this is my record since Sept. 13th, from 14 birds: — Sept, (from 13tli) October 192 November (to 11th) 91 Total for two months .... 379 Is this bad laying from pullets hatched April 22nd, 3923?
