. REVENUE FOR JUNE QUARTER. WELLINGTON. July 24. The Postal and Telegraph revenue for the quarter ended June 30, compared with a year ago, is as follows (shillings and pence omitted): 1924. 1923. Postal £326,767 £335.728 Telegraphic 438,260 288,131 Of the latter telephones produced £257,492. compared with £123,009 a year ago. Savings Bank deposits totalled £7.597.610. against £7.635,050 for the June quarter of 1923. The withdrawals this year totalled £7,812,880, exceeding Ihe deposits by £215,270. while a year ago the withdrawals were £7.094,446, or £540,584 less than the deposits.
