In the ballroom the foxtrot still leads, hut the waltz is growing steadily in favour] Not the old waltz, of course with its unending, dizzy round, but the half-turn style, with longer steps in between. The one’step is still popular; it refuses to die. Blues one gets occasionally, and perhaps twice in an afternoon or evening of nonstop dancing there will be a tango.
