A ma tch was fi red on Monday at Pelichel Bay Range between teams from Dunedin and Kaitangata Defence Rifle Chibs. Owing to the bad weather the competition was made a one range match—lo shots at 500 yards. The result was a win for Dunedin Club by 11 points. Scores;

GUN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. AUCKLAND, June 6. The championship of the New Zealand Gun Club Association resulted in L. P. Hughes (Auckland), after tieing for first place with 20 kills out of a possible twentyone, taking the 20 guinea gold medal. The following tied for third place: King (Waihi), Stead (Christchurch), Whittle (Stratford), Nitz (Masterton), Clinch (Horopito). In the shoot-off Nitz won. CLAY BIRD CHAMPIONSHIP. HAMILTON, June 8. The Clay Bird Championship of New Zealand, under the auspices of the New Zealand Gun Club Association, in which there were 39 competitors, resulted:—H. Clinch (Horopito), 20 kills out of a possible 21, 1; B. Burgess. (Mart-on), 19, was runner-up, and seven tied for third place with 18 kills.
