CARNIVAL AT CHRISTCHURCH.
CHRISTCHURCH, May 11. Tutankhamen in all his ancient panoply came to Christchurch to-day. The Canter bury College students brought him, and thousands of citizens turned out to bid the Royal visitor welcome. It was the day of the students’ annual carnival procession, which was quite as successful as previous years, despite wet and gloomy weather. To-day’s revels were the first cf the fixtures in connection with the jubilee celebrations of Canterbury College.
