Mr N. Meuli, a well-known citizen of Wanganui, has presented 2i acres of land for a children’s playground for Gonville. E. Ewitt, a bushman, employed at Karioi, was fined £3O and costs by Mr Wfatson, S.M., for supplying liquor to a Native in a prohibited area.
