In ten years the Wai-Rongoa Clydesdales have won 69 Championships, 320 Firsts, 147 Seconds in Scotland and New Zealand, the Seconds and Thirds being beaten by their own winners. 17. From records taken, Clydesdales bred at Wai-Rongoa have proved to be the most prolific reproducers, and they are noted for their longevity. 18. They are bred from such imported G.V.L.C. dams as Baron’s Brilliant, Silver Cloud, Ena, Moireen, Lady Buchlyvie, Pride of Trowen, Choicest Queen, Bonnie Queen, White Rose, etc. 19. From 1905 to 1919 all the sires and great sires stood on the breeding list as the best breeding Clydesdales of the world during their time. 20. The sires and great sires won over 40 Championships and 40 Firsts in Scotland in open competition against the best Clydesdales in the world. 21.
