SLUGGISH LIVER Drowsy Conditions Dispersed. Probably nothing is more depressing than a sluggish liver. The world seems all wrong and you are at your wit’s end as to what to do for the best. This was about the condition of Mr. G. Burgess when Dr. Morse’s Indian Root Pills were first brought to his notice. The remarkable change effected by this remedy is described by Mr. Burgess in the following letter:— Kirkwood Street, Thames. Dear Sirs, — About three or four years ago I used to rise from my bed in the morning in a drowsy condition and felt disinclined to work and went off my food. This I attributed to a sluggish liver and bilious symptoms. A mate of mine who had in his possession Dr. Morse's Indian Root Pills recommended this remedy to my notice and I tried them and soon found much benefit from a course of this medicine. I can assert that they cured me of a sluggish liver and I find them a useful pill to keep in my household in case of necessity. With the children occasionally they prove beneficial and sometimes the wife has recourse to them, so they really provide our family medicine. (Signed) Mr. G. BURGESS. V V v V r,i Bui^ess Dr. Morse’s Indian Root Pills possess a world-wide reputation as a liver medicine. They open the clogged-up system, purify the blood, and thus drive away the drowsiness and depression which are the outcome of a sluggish liver. On the appearance of bilious symptoms a dose from two to four of Dr. Morse’s Indian Root Pills should be taken, the larger dose for a more robust grown person. The next night increase the dose one extra pill, and if the trouble is not relieved another dose should be taken. A little experience will guide the patient in the use of the pills so as to produce the best results. People differ in the way medicine affects them, and consequently no invariable rule can be given.
