G The school bands taking part in the B is Grade Fife and Drum Band Contest did n not come out of the competition as an- ) nounced in Saturday morning’s paper, the s j! reason being that in place of adopting the , g regular custom of using the programme ’ numbers of the bands taking part in making the announcements, the order in which the bands appeared was used by the judge when giving the results, hence the confusion.
