Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under: TO-DAY (TUESDAY), JULY 12. For United Kingdom and Europe (per Peshawur), at 9 a.m. ; correspondence must be specially addressed per Peshawur. For Australian States, South Africa, Egypt, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Mediterranean Ports (per North Express), at 10.15 a.m. (to connect with tho Ulimaroa at Auckland). Lute-fee letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.m. Owing to tho withdrawal of the Wahine from the ferry service mails will now close for the North Island on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7 a.m., and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10.30 a.m. Mails from the North Island will arrive at Dunedin per Second Express, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
