The marble figure that is to form the Soldiers Memorial at Ulvdevale lias now arrived from Italy and is a spelndid piece of work (states the Clutha Leader). A suitable site ha 3 been obtained in Clydevate reserve, op the hill above the township, and the memorial will thus bo a prominent landmark. Tho cost of the memorial is said to be over £3OO.
