Kirkwood (Australia), 70; H. Yardon (South Herts), 74. In the .golf final Boomer and ■ Massy tied! with 284; Kirkwood 291, Yardon 295, East 313. July 2. In the play-off at Le Touquet, Boomer won by seven strokes. Massy retired at the 34th hole. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
