The Messrs Lnttrell Bros., the well-known Christchurch racecourse architects, are at present on a business visit to Wellington, jt is on the cards that the Wellington Racing Club will shortly make a start with the extensive alterations at Trentham. Such a scheme would help to relieve the unemployment difficulty at present existing. J. Lowe did not stop long in victoria after Insurrection faded to win a race there. He arrived at Sydney on the 15th. It is likely that Insurrection will be raced *it, the. suburban meetings there before returning to Trentham.
