NONCONFORMITY
LONDON, June 16. Mr LI oyd George in addressing tho General Assembly of the Welsh Presbytery at Fort Madoc, said that Nonconformity had never been so politically divided as it is to-day. A vast number had joined the Coalition, while Labour also claimed a very powerful and influential following. Great wisdom was required to save Nonconformity from disaster. Air Lloyd George continued: ' I am sometimes appalled at the nersonal hatred men are capable of in politics. Personally, I favour the League of Nations, but there is a danger that, unless something is done to instruct public opinion, the league may become the breeding-ground of intrigues and feuds. I am disappointed to find that, despite the great war, the spirit of national hatred and greed is as dominant as ever.”
