REBELS CAPTURE OMSK. TOKIO, June 6. Siberian despatches state that the antiBolshevist forces captured Omsk. The Bolshevists are withdrawing towaids Tobolsk. VIGOROUS FRENCH PROTEST. LONDON, June 6. The Daily Telegraph states that the French Government has sent to London a Note vigorously protesting against the principle of Great Britain’s trade agreement with Russia, which permits the Soviet Government to dispose in Great Britain of confiscated securities and goods, except those belonging to British subjects. The Note also protests against the situation created by the Court of Appeal’s judgement that it is not within the jurisdiction of the English courts to interfere with tile, decrees which confiscated goods in Russia. Ihe Note asks the British merchants trading with Russia that the French Government w ill uphold the rights of French citizens regarding their confiscated property in Russia. UNITED ACTION AGAINST THE REDS. PARIS, June 6. Tlie Russian National Congress, representing all anti-Bolshevists, held its first sitting here to-day. It will endeavour to agree on united action against the Moscow agitators. The onlv anti-Bolshevists who were excluded are the supporters of the CV.ari.st regime.
