The receipts from the bathing facilities at Caroline Bay this season constitute a record (reports the Timaru Herald). Up to the present they total £516 13s, as compared with £444 14s lOd for (he whole of last season. The receipts from the tennis courts and car stand also show a subsantial advance, amounting, as they do, to £l4l 9s 4d, so far this season, as compared with £ll4 12s 8d for (he whole of last season.
