MINISTERS’ MOVEMENTS
THE HON. J. G. COATES’S ITINERARY. Mr J. Horn, M.P., has received a telegram from the Hon. J. G. Coates (Minister ox Public Works) giving particulars of liis itinerary in the South Island. Mr Coates will leave Christchurch for Geraldine on Thursday, February 3. He will lunch at Geraldine, and will stop at Timaru from 2.30 to 4 p.m., arriving at Waimate at o p.m. On Friday, February 4, Mr Coates will proceed to Naseby, via Danscy's Pass or Pigroot, and on the following day lie will journey to Clyde, via Ophir. He will visit the Manorburn dam, Ida Valley, and Earnscleugh. On Monday, February 7, he will proceed by motor launch to Hawea, via Cromwell, and will visit the power house site; and on Tuesday, February 8, he will travel through Otago Central, examining the district around Roxburgh. On Wednesday, February 9, he will visit Gore after passing through the Teviot district. Mr Coates will arrive in Dunedin from Invercargill and the Clutha district on Wednesday, February 16, and will proceed to Oamaru on Friday, February 18.
