HOSPITAL SUBSIDIES.
COMMISSION APPOINTED. WELLINGTON, January 19. The commission appointor! to inquire into hospital subsidies, representation of boards, and other matters was announced to-day by the Hon. Mr Parr. The members are as follow:—Mr W. Downie Stewart, M.P. (Dunedin), Mr A. D. M ‘Leod, M.P. (Wairarapa), lion. W. H. Triggs (Christchurch), Dr 11. T. D. Aciarwl (Christchurch), Mr George Shirtcliffe (Wellington).
