OTAGO GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL.
After 50 years’ continuous service Miss Flora Allan lias tendered her resignation as lady principal of tho Otago Girls’ High School. The Board of Governors passed a resolution stating that the resignation had been received with regret, but with conres_ponding pleasure had received a letter from Miss Flora Campbell, on behalf of the school staff, urging the board to request Miss Allan to withdraw her resignation until after next year, in view of the fact that the sf-hool jubilee will be celebrated in 1921. While recognising that the work is hard tho board asks Miss Allan to withdraw her resignation until the end of 1921.
