A rink from! Alexandra, comprising W. Herron, A. Campbell, M'Lean, and Marslin (skip), visited Roxburgh to play for the Jolly Memorial Cup. Roxburgh retained the trophy; scoring 19 to Alexandra's 14. The Dtmstan'Club had a big turn out for lady's day, when; combined doubles were played. The winners turned up in Mrs Sutherland and Mr Stevens, with Mrs R. Smart and Mr Elder':;as runners-up. The winning ladfes were "presented with suitable trophies by'Mr Bringans, the president, who took the opportunity to thank all the lady friends of "the club for their splendid assistance during the season. The Oamaru Easter' bowling tournament still holds its place in the popular estimation of South Island howlers, and alreadly entries for the full number of rinks have been received.

Auckland representative bowlers defeated South Auckland by 185 to 130. Taranaki defeated South Auckland by 162 to 161.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS . TOURNAMENT. . The annual Champion of Champions Competition of the Dunedin Bowling Centre commenced on Saturday under ideal conditions. There were 18 club champions talcing part -in the tournament, Seacliff, Waitati, and - Otago being the only clubs unrepresented. ■■ Th e competition is played on the "two-life" system, under which each player is allowed to continue till he has had two losses. .The games are for 21 heads with a time limit of one hour and a-half.' Play opened in the morning on the North-East Valley and Caversham Greens,, and was continued in the afternoon at the Caledonian Green till 6 p.m., by which time five rounds had been completed. At the conclusion of the day's play the only five competitors left in are Tonkin, Gale, Anderson, Cavanagh, and Campbell, and of these Tonkin is the only one who_ has not yet suffered a loss. The competition will be continued on to its final stage next Saturday. ROSS AND GLBNDINING. The annual match between Ross and Glendinings and the Mosgiel Woollen Company was played on the Taieri GTeen on Saturday. The green was very keen, and "ditchers" were numerous. Refreshments were provided by a band of willing ladies, to whom the thanks of both teams are due. A most enjoyable game resulted in a win for Ross and Glenining's by 23 points.
