FOOTBALL.
The annual report and statement of accounts of the Wellington Rugby Football Union, in pamphlet form, is to hand. The tJnlon made a profit on the season of £1075, and has now invested £3136, or £1507 in oxeeas of outside liabilities. noon. The most attractive tie is Tottenham Hotspur versus Acton Villa, on the former's ground'. The club officials estimate that they received applications for 50,000 reserved seats within 24- hours after the draw was announced, but only 5000 seats were available.
Hundreds of people waited at the Tottenham Hotspur offices on Monday on the chance that the team would be drawn to play "on the same ground.
