INFLUENZA
NEW YORK, September 16. A message from Chicago states that there has been a recrudescence of Spanish influenza, a total of 37 cases having been reported. MELBOURNE, September 16. The Influenza epidemic is officially de* clared over. The deaths from influenza to date iri Victoria total 3224. It is estimated that the expenditure incurred by the Government due to the epidemic totals £236,000.
