CHRISTCHURCH, January 16. Walter Lauder was charged to-day in the Magistrate's Court at Christchurch with committing bigamy nt Codford, in England, ■where he went through the form of marriage with Hilda May Roud, his wife (Mary Lauder) being then alive. The magistrate (Mr M'Carthy) said he did not know whether a court in the dominion had the power to deal with the case, as the alleged offence Was committod in England.
