A ROYAL BEREAVEMENT.

Prince John Charles, youngest child of King George and Queen Mary, died at Sandringham Palace. Official: Prince John died in his sleep on Saturday afternoon after an epileptic seizure. Official: Prince John had suffered from epilepsy since childhood. Death was sudden. The King and Queen had been medically warned of the probability, but boTh were absent from the room when death Occurred which was while the Prince was sitting in bed after an epileptic seizure. The nurse summoned their Majesties to the death chamber, and they were overcome with grief. [Prince John Charles was born on July 12, 1905—some five years before his father's accession to the throne—and was thus in his fourteenth year.]
