Br Peten Pan. Juno 6. Dear " Pasquin,"—The Allan Wilkio Company, after its very successful tour in these isles, is on its way to Australia, and is due to open in Brisbane on tho 15th. Mr Wilkie's return with a repertoire of old-time favourites —" Tho School for Scandal," etc. —will be awaited with interest. . It is a pity we do not have more opportunities to hear tho plays of yesterday. I notice the Fullers intend to revive in Melbourne a number of the old-time comic operas. As wo have had more than enough of tho trashy musical comedies, they should be rewarded for their effort. Malini, the cleverest- sleight-of-hand artist Wellington has seen, is " resting" here, lie intends to take to the road again next week, when he will visit Duncdin and the other large cities in the south. "The Strollers" finish here on Saturday, and then move north. Jack Waller, of the "Look, Who's Here" Company, returns from Sydney shortly, when his company will _ reassemble for a short tour of the Dominion. The opening date has been fixed for the 13th July at tho Grand Opera House. Mr Waller has secured a number of novelties for this tour The company has booked dates for Grand National Week in Christchurch. Tlio Wellington Choral Union is to give "The Bohemian Girl" in concert form for

the first time in Wellington next week. Miss Helen Gard'ner, of your city, litis been engaged to sing the purls of Arline and Buda. 'J he " Dirk Whittington ' pantomime is dm here on the 271 h. .John Fiirrcll is managing the company, and Charles Berkeley will look after things ahead.
