Smith put his suffering behind him and regained his former good health. Writing on July 20, from 46 Angel street, Newtown, N.S-W., he says: "For a period extending over several years I was afflicted with a severe form of chronio indigestion, which greatly debilitated my system and also brought on poorness of the blood and extreme nervousness and depression. I had no appetite for my meals, and what little I did eat usually caused much internal pain and discomfort. In fact, I felt ill and out of sorts all the while, and wa3 very seldom free from aches and pains. After using many "medicines without any good results, I became quite disheartened, and almost ceased to hope for a cure; but about two and a-half years back I was induced to try a bottle of Mother Seigel's Syrup. After a few doses I experienced such marked relief that I knew I had at length got a remedy that was capable of doing me real and substantial benefit. I ate better as I used it, and soon ceased to feel any distress or pain after meals, the nervousness gradually disappeared, and I gained health, weight, and strength from every bottlo I consumed. My condition continued to improve until not a trace or symptom of my old complaints was left to trouble me, and I was thoroughly cured before I had quite finished the last of six bottles of Mother Seigel's Syrup. Since then I have been happily able to enjoy my meals without being called on to endure any after oains or penalties—- & boon I ara truly grateiui for."-
