AVIATION SCHOOL.
PUPILS LEAVING SHORTLY FOR ENGLAND, No fewer than 17 young aviators who have qualified at the Aviation School a't Bockburn will leave Christchurch shortly on their way to England. For the short |imo it has been in existence (says the Press) tho school has dono remarkably y/ell, and, including those who leave in tho ftox't draft, 35 men have actually left therefor active service, while over 50 have either Jaken their tickets or are at present qualifying to do so. Arrangements have been made for the men to be entertained by Mr H. ,F. Wigram, chairman of the Aviation Company, before 'their departure, and a feature of that function will be a lecture on " Aircraft Service" by Lieutenant-colonel J. L. Sleeman, I.G.S.
