SALE OF STUD SHEEP.

MASTERTON, January 24. At Mr W. Perry's sale of stud sheep today high proces were realised. For Romnev shearling rams Mr Quinton Donald paid 290 gs (a record for New Zealand), Mr W. Ryncr 280 gs. Mr W. Field (Gisborne) 250 gs, and Mr R. M. Patterson (Arrowtown) 200 gs. Other sales were made at 120 gs, 125 gs, HOgs, 190 gs, 160 gs, 130 g-s, lOOgs, 85gs, and 90gs. In Lincolns, Mr Gaietord paid 170 gs for a one-shear ram. Other prices were 35gs, 40gs, 45gs, 50gs, 60gs, 65gs, and 75g«.
