HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD. The following are extracts* from the leports of committees to be presented at the meeting on Thursday: The Benevolent Committee reports having dealt with 56 cases for relief at a weekly cost of £2B - 3s. Casual cases for relief, amounting to £165, were approved. During the month nine persons have been, admitted to, eight discharged from, and two deaths have occurred at the Otago Benevolent Institution. At present 182 inmates remain.
