Advice has been received by the Collector of Customs at Auckland that when permission has been grantee] for the following goods to bo imported into tho United States it is necessary for thorn to bo consigned on account of tho real consignee, as follows: —Plumbago, tho Plumbago Graphite Association, New York; tanning material, leather, hides, and skins, to tho Tanner's Council of America; laces of all kinds to the United States Sheliao Importers' Association.
