A new product is asbestos cement roofing, designed as a substitute for corrugated iron. ( -'ound asbestos and about six times as much Portland cement are made into pasto with water, and this is rolled into sheets on a large revolving drum. Cull to suitable size, the sheets to bo corrugated are so pressed that the tope of tho corrugations are as strong as tho rest. Afies suitable seasoning, tho sheets used for ncA« roofing or repairing are waterproof, firo« proof, and unaffected by an acid-charged atmosphere.
