Results: Stevenson Phillips's Acetone, 3hr 28|min (vel 1415vds 2ft lOin), 1- O. Conly's Red Wins? 3hrs 26min (vel. 1410yds 2ft lOin), 2\ A Goodman's Red Riff, 3hr 29imin (vel. 1408vds Ift), and T. M'Lean's Storm Beater, 3hr 29&min (vel. 1403yds Oft 9in), equal, 3i A Botting's Enlist, 3hr 29iin (vel. 1407yds 2f't lOin), 5. Birds entered by Messrs Hutchinson, Veitoh, Smith, and M'Dougal, Esquilant, Molr, Jones, J. Goodman, Ramsay, Fitzgerald, Still, and Barden also "Maternity allowances to the amount of £562,035 were paid in Australia last year. This was an Increase of 458 allowances compared with tho preceding year.
