LATE MR G. P. DONNELLY
DISPOSITION OF A VALUABLE PROPERTY. _ , NAPIER, September 3. Probate of the last will and two codicils of tho late George Prior Donnelly, of " Otatara," Taradale, sheep farmer, vaa granted yesterday by the Chief Justice to three of tho executors—Messrs Henry Valentine Hoadley, Alexander Bulwer Campbell, and Hutton Ewan Troutbcck,—leave being reserved to grant a like probate to James Hugh Buchanan Cbatea (the remaining executor) if he should apply for it. By tho combined operation of the will and codicils, the following dispositions were made of tho property of the testator:—To his daughter, Maud Ainni Trakitai la Morto, tho " Otatara. " freehold estate, situate in Taradale (being the property purchased from tho lato Mr Henry Williams); to his si=ter Marie Hoadley, £10,000; to his sister, Hannah Donnelly, an annuity of £250; to hia sister, Nannie Shaw, an annuity of £250; to his niece, Maud Mary Lansdowne Shaw, an annuity of £250; to his nephew, Henry Valcntina Hoadley, £15,000; to his nephew, Guy Lansdowne Shaw, £IO,OOO, to be applied in the reduction of testator's guarantee for the "Ngatmatea" Estate; to his nephew, Frank Borcsford Donnelly, £5000; to his nephew, Claude Donnelly, £5000; to Dr Ross, formerly of Waipawa, £2000; to his old and valued friend. James Hugh Buchanan Coates, an annuity of £SOO, and, after his death, tho same annuity to his sister, Lavinia Coates; to Patrick Donnelly, son of the said Frank Berosford Donnelly, on his attaining 21 years, £1000; to a brother, Harry Langley Donnelly, an annuity of £200; to a, friend, James M'Pherson John Stratton. £6OOO and an annuity of £250; to a friend, Alexander Bulhver Campbell, £IOOO and 1 per cent, on the net value of v the estate for death duty purposes; to a friend. Thomas Victor Marrin. £5000; to a daughter, Maud Airini Tiak'tai la Morto.- the testator's stud, thoroughbreds, horso business, and all horses and other properties and appurtenances thereof. All tho above gifts are free of duty. All residue of the estate is triven to three rrrandchildren, Derek Chnrclv'll Prior NeHie Airini Elizabeth Perry, and Moori Francis Churchill Perry, in equal shares, a,s a class, if, and when, they respectively attain 21 years, or, being female, marry, subject to the payment of the income of one-fourth part to Maud Airini Tiakitai la Mart© during her life. There aro also a large number of bequests and annuities to domestic servants and station employees.
