OS!
No fervour now! Only the weight and horror of the war; But we have set our hands upon the plough— No faltering now! On! firmly on, whatever lies before. Though passion fail, The eager passion of impulsive youth, And brutal power awhile prevail, We have a refuge with Eternal Truth. No faltering now! Only the task and anguish of the war, The thorny crown for many a patient brow. No faltering now! On! firmly on, whatever lies before! Charles Oscar Palmer.
