ANZAC WIRELESS SQUADRON.
Australian soldiers ;n all branches of lli9 service continue to win golden opinions wherever they ai-e sent. Early in the year an Anzac Wireless Squadron was despatched to Mesopotamia, and according to a message sent by Lieut.-general F. S. Maude, commanding the British Forces in Mesopotamia, to Brigadier-general H. Foster, Chief of the General Staff, the squadron took a prominent part in the operations. "As invariably . happens," added Lieut.-general Maude, "where Australians and New Zealanders are concerned, they rendered very valuable services."
