IRISH AFFAIRS.
(By Cable.) At Dublin, on the anniversary, on Easter Sunday, of the Sinn Fein rebellion, above 200 Sinn Feincrs attacked and stoned soldiers and the police. Tho latter charged with theirbatons and dispersed dense crowds of sympathisers. After mass at the Cork Cathedral for the repose of the rebels' souls, 3CO men. women, and girls marched in procession to the Town Hall, tore down the municipal flag, and replaced it by the Sinn Fein flag. The police dispersed them, and the municipal flag was replaced. Slight disturbances occurred at Dublin on Easter Monday. It is estimated that £KX)O worth of windows were broken. One shop was looted. Several arrests were made. Tho Irish Conference Committee suggested to Mr Duke (Irish Secretary) that the Government should issue invitations to all parties for a Homo Eule Conference. Mr Duke's reply was sympathetic and noncommittal.
